History
The University of Curaçao (UoC) was formed by a national decree on the 12 of January 1979 (O.B. 1979 no. 27). The University was established after a number of developments that were very important for this formation.

Library services
The Library of the University of Curaçao supports education and research. We deliver access to a wide range of high quality resources, both in print and digital. We also support our users in the improvement of their search skills.
ICT services
The department of Information Communication and Technology Services (ICTS) offers staff and students of the University various facilities and services.
These computer halls are all equipped with computers with Windows operating systems. All computers are connected in a network and have an Internet connection. There are printing and scanning facilities at a modest charge in the free lab.
Accreditation
The University of Curaçao is accredited by the NVAO, offering a wide variety of programs in 5 different faculties. Driven to become the knowledge center in the Caribbean, the UoC's International Office helps students, faculty and staff to seek international collaborations.

My Experience at the University of Curaçao
Overall, my study experience at the University of Curaçao has been both enriching and personal. One of the things I really appreciated was the small class sizes, which made it easy to connect with professors and classmates. The teaching staff is knowledgeable and approachable, and the multicultural environment makes learning here unique and dynamic.

the university is good, everything I have seen has taught me a lot and I have grown as a student and as a person. Of course there are things that could be changed, but that has already been discussed with the decans in order to do something about it.
unaccomplished dream
It was definitely my dreamed career, a well balanced between the courses. The balance of a bit numbers mixed with law, was what I loved the most. But unfortunately they cancelled the study due to internal issues, which lead me to do law alone. Doing law by itself makes me realize that the balance between economy/math and a bit law works best for me.
