On June 13, 1623, the Audiencia and the Archbishop acknowledged the papal brief and the Royal Decree authorizing the academic degrees in school that the Society of Jesus had established in Santa Fe since 1604. Then, students had time back there studied, including Pedro Claver, received their degree.

My experience at the university has been rewarding these 4 years of my life, because I have loved the campus since I was a child and its level of academic demand is quite high, which has helped me to set new challenges every day, which helps the relationship between student and teacher, there is trust, willingness to teach, and therefore willingness to learn. I have always found a lot of support from my faculty, which has helped me to grow and feel part of this community.

I think Medicine is always an extenuating degree. However in "Pontificia Universidad Javeriana" I had excellent professors and a lot of experience in the clinical field as well in the research field.
