Merrimack College was founded in 1947 in North Andover, Massachusetts, by the Order of St. Augustine O.S.A.
The Augustinians, at the invitation of Richard Cushing, then Archbishop of Boston, established the College as a direct response to the needs and aspirations of local G.I.’s returning home from World War II.We provide professionally-relevant Pre-Master's Programs that are specifically designed for international students and taught on campus. Our aim is to teach you the English language, study and research skills you need to succeed in your graduate degree at Merrimack, as well as in your career.
The O’Brien Center for Career Development staff offer a wealth of resources, including career fairs and panels, researching employment opportunities, on-campus interviews, and extensive one-on-one advising to help you identify your interests, explore your options, and pursue your employment or graduate study goals.

One way you can be part of this community is through college housing. Students have a variety of types of residence halls they can live in during their time at Merrimack from standard double rooms and suites to apartments on and off campus.Students will get to know their Resident Advisor (RA) who is an upperclass student who lives within the community. RAs plan events and help students get to know each other. Events that RAs have planned in the past year include trips to the North End in Boston for pastries, service trips, and pep rallies before sporting events.

Overall a great school! People are cool, staff are nice and very helpful. The dorms aren't that bad compared to a lot of other schools. South res is the best housing on campus, hands down. Lots of ways to get involved, and class workload is manageable. A lot of on-campus jobs available. There isn't a lot to do off campus, but the school makes up for it by hosting a lot of events. The sports games are very popular and fun to go to. Wifi and parking could be better. The food is improving a lot. Biggest downside is how expensive it is, even with financial aid.
I had the privilege of completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences (RCRS), affiliated with Khyber Medical University. My experience at RCRS was exceptional, with a well-structured curriculum, experienced faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities. The college provided me with a solid foundation in physical therapy, with a focus on both theoretical and practical aspects. The faculty members were knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraged critical thinking and research. I was also impressed by the college's emphasis on clinical training, which prepared me well for real-world scenarios. The affiliation with Khyber Medical University added value to my degree, providing me with opportunities to learn from renowned professionals in the field. My hard work and dedication were recognized, and I was awarded a Teaching Assistant position at RCRS, which has been a great opportunity for me to give back to the institution and share my knowledge with future generations of physical therapists.
