The faculty of medicine was founded in 1962 as a branch of Cairo University. In 1972, a presidential decree announced the establishment of the University under the name "East Delta University”. Later on, its name was changed to Mansoura University in 1973. Mansoura University is the sixth university to be founded in Egypt.

My university experience has been a valuable and challenging journey that helped me develop both academically and personally. During my Mechanical Engineering studies, I gained a strong foundation in engineering principles, particularly in mechanical systems, HVAC, energy, and power engineering. One area that could be improved is providing students with more practical training and greater exposure to real engineering applications. Overall, my study experience gave me a solid engineering background and motivated me to continue my education and specialize further through a Master's degree.
Mansoura University is a very good university in terms of education and is ready to receive many new students. I don't find any obvious flaws in it.
As a student at Mansoura University, I appreciate the strong academic foundation and supportive professors. The campus is lively, and there are many opportunities to grow academically and socially. Some facilities need improvement, but overall it’s a valuable place to study and build your future.
