Warm Community
Great place to be! Welcoming and warming people! Love it here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!! But yeah, if you are looking for a place also to learn how to think, I'd definitely recommend this place, as not only are you able to chat with Pomona students, but you also have students from the other 5Cs to chat with.
College is about the journey
I would recommend it to many students, yet it is not for everyone. Some departments are amazing (math, I have heard good stuff about geology) but some are very mid. Yet, they have an amazing campus, many activities and many opportunities when it comes to jobs, internships etc. It is a small college and you never forget that but if you want to be in a small community, in a beautiful location, you are willing to put the work (classes harder than the average university) then Pomona is the place. Also, if you do care about the name and the prestige, Pomona should not be on your top choices
Supportive and passionate professors
Pomona College has been an incredible experience. The student body is amazing diverse, talented, and intellectually stimulating. They constantly challenge and inspire me. The campus itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect environment for learning. But what truly sets Pomona apart are the professors. They're supportive and passionate about their subjects, making even the most challenging coursework engaging. I feel incredibly fortunate to be here!
