History
Large and complex tasks of recovering the national economy in 1920s required highly qualified personnel for all the industries.
Therefore, on December 10, 1920 Minsk Polytechnic School was transformed into a higher technical educational establishment Belarusian State Polytechnic Institute.

Library services
The Scientific Library of the BNTU was founded in 1920. At present it is the largest university library in the Republic of Belarus. This technical library possesses a universal collection on technology, architecture, arts, natural sciences, etc. The oldest books date back to 1831. The library holdings number more than 2 000 000 items. Each year the library receives over 44 000 new publications.

The BNTU has a well-developed health infrastructure comprising 3 health unit, where highly-qualified health care professionals are always on alert to provide first aid or ease an ailment.
BNTU Sanatorium is a unique health care facility.

My experience at BNTU
I majored in Automation. Classrooms were very convenient. Online classes were held amidst Covid-19. The lecturers were really nice. The experience at BNTU was really educational and fun.

Full knowledge programm for each sphere. Great opportunities for after university plan
Life at BNTU
The education provided was of high quality and it was delivered in an interesting manner. The lecturers were really educated and also very nice. The education manner was less stressful making it highly accommodating. However the extra clubs, etc are harder to participate if you don't have the language (Russian) knowledge.
