A memorable experience in UUM, Malaysia
Studying at Universiti Utara Malaysia has been a formative and enriching experience that shaped both my academic interests and personal development. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I particularly appreciated the university’s supportive learning environment and its strong emphasis on management, social sciences, and interdisciplinary perspectives. The campus community encouraged students to engage in discussions on global and regional issues, which helped me develop critical thinking skills and a broader understanding of contemporary social challenges. One of the aspects I enjoyed most was the opportunity to participate in international and intercultural activities, such as academic dialogues and cultural exchange programmes. I enrolled in a mobility student exchange program at Universitas Indonesia (UI). These experiences allowed me to interact with students from different backgrounds and strengthened my interest in global cooperation and international policy. Overall, my time at Universiti Utara Malaysia provided a strong academic foundation and inspired me to pursue further studies and international engagement. It was an experience that broadened my worldview and prepared me for future academic and professional challenges.
UUM lively multi‑school campus
universiti Utara Malaysia is a public university of Malaysia, it consider in kedah sintok, there are include 3 school. there are school of art and science, school of business and school of law, government and international studies. in this university there are many resident hall, and cafe, all the food are very delicious, and all around the tree, but it still quite hot in early of the year, beside it will fell cold when end of the year
Still settling in
Although I'm already in my second semester, I've only been living here for about a month. The WiFi can be unstable at times, which is a bit frustrating. That said, the university is really big, and the students are kind and always willing to help, whether it's figuring out how to get to class by bus or finding your way around campus.
