Library services
SSU Regional Scientific Library is one of the leading units in the university. It provides literature and information for education and research. It is a regional center of knowledge, spiritual and intellectual communication, and culture.
The main goal of the library is to ensure full and efficient library and information services for students, researchers, university faculty and staff.
Sports facilities
Saratov State University sport club was founded on 23 September, 2009.
Sport Club carries sport and fitness work with students and university faculty and staff.
There are 33 section including Futsal, basketball, volleyball, karate, darts, table tennis, aerobics, fencing, handball, chess, swimming, cheerleading and others.
Accreditation
2013-2014 National University Rating was published on 5 June, 2014. Saratov State University is at the Top-20 holding the 18th position.
Number one is Lomonosov Moscow State University; second place is taken by Saint Petersburg State University; National Research Nuclear University MEPhI comes 3rd.
SSU has kept its position in the Top-20 among 161 other universities included in the rating.
2013-2014 rating includes data on classical and national research universities as well as technical, economical, medical, agrarian, and transport universities.

Study in Russia
Since I arrive here in Russia, I am loving it. Every day is filled with new experiences.
A great scientific university
Saratov State University is a great place to study, where you can dive into the scientific researchers and interesting extracurricular activities. Professors are professionals who have been studying and working abroad in various countries. They are also always able to help with studies and provide needed assistance on any issue. In general, it is a great place to get experience and study new disciplines.
My Vet Medicine Experience
I liked the overall system of studying but it would be better if there were fewer filling subjects, in order to get more free time to manage between study or work.
