Voronezh State University is one of the leading classical universities in Russia, whose history is closely related to the Yuryevsk (Dorpat) University, opened in 1802 by the decree of Emperor Alexander I and in 1918 in accordance with the decree of the Great State Commission "transported" to the city of Voronezh.
Voronezh State University is the largest university in the Black Earth Region, a cultural and research center of Russia, which includes 18 faculties , a branch in Borisoglebsk , 16 research laboratories , 10 educational, research and production centers , the Zonal Scientific Librarycontaining over 3 million storage units.

There are several dormitories of VSU; some of them are located at the North university campus and some of them in the center of the city. You can apply for dormitory near the place of your study, but the final selection will depend on the available places.
