Student services

The International Programs Office is dedicated to providing social support and immigration advisement for the well being of international students who attend Cal Lutheran. We offer immigration advisement, workshops, and social activities for international students. We also serve as an educational resource for students, faculty and staff. Programs and activities sponsored by the office encourage international and American students to interact in order to provide an enriched campus community for all.

Housing services

Comfortable and community-oriented, it doesn’t take long before your residence hall feels like home. Living in any of our residence halls means you'll be moving into a great neighborhood and welcomed into the supportive Cal Lutheran community.

Library services

Pearson Library opened to the public on April 14th, 1985, thanks in large part to major sponsors Clifford and Alma Pearson of Santa Barbara. The Library has evolved from a study hall to a diverse educational environment with technology and physical spaces to support a wide range of learning styles.

Medical services

Your well-being is our top priority. We want you to be focused on personal and intellectual growth throughout your academic career. That's why in addition to providing a safe, secure environment in which to live and learn, we also offer on-campus services to ensure your time at Cal Lutheran is the best that it can be.

Campus life

The 225-acre campus is located midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, just 20 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean nestled against the hills in Thousand Oaks. Off-site centers are located in Woodland Hills, Westlake Village, Oxnard and Santa Maria. Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary is located in Berkeley.

Sports facilities

Cal Lutheran’s intercollegiate athletic teams compete in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and the NCAA Division III. Junior varsity teams compete in men’s and women’s basketball, men's and women’s soccer, baseball and women's volleyball.

Student clubs

Get involved outside of the classroom. Student clubs and organizations are a great way to get connected to life on campus. With groups ranging from academics to politics, media and diversity, there's plenty to choose from if you're looking to get involved. From iCLU campus radio to Knights Hockey to professional societies, a wide range of interests, passions and communities are represented by student clubs.

My 5 years of university in Belgium

My studies allowed me to develop a critical mind and legal analysis. I was also able to meet a lot of people both professionally and personally. It also allowed me to continue my studies for 5 months in Canada which is really an asset for my training.
