Student services

We want all of our students to feel comfortable and at home both on campus and in our community. We provide important supports for international students through the Student Life Programs Office.

Housing services

Of all the memories you'll make in college, the most meaningful and long-lasting will include your friends. Many of those friendships will begin in your residence hall.

You'll meet students who share your interests and people with lives quite different from yours. Students from familiar places, and students from half a world away. You'll stay up late talking, study together, relax over a board game, play Frisbee on the lawn, and make friendships which will last a lifetime. Freshmen under 21 years old are required to live on campus.

Options:

  • Residence Halls
  • Campus Apartments

Library services

Montana Tech Library began in 1900 when the school's first professor of Geology and Mineralogy, Alexander N. Winchell, wrote scores of letters to foreign and domestic  geological organizations requesting that they send him conference proceedings and scientific reports.  The first library building was completed in 1940 and moved to its current location in 1978.

Medical services

Montana Technological University’s Student Health Center provides several services to keep our students healthy.  Our health care providers can diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions. Common conditions include strep throat, influenza, common cold, urinary tract infections, basic first aid, sports physicals, depression and other mental health concerns.

Sports facilities

The HPER Facility is an academic and recreational facility on the Montana Tech Campus. It is dedicated to serving the academic, recreational, athletic, and other official programs or activities of the campus.

The Best Mining School

My study experience at Montana Technological University was excellent. Though I completed the first semester online, I really loved the teacher-student relationship. The (practically oriented) teaching style of the professors made the courses I read very easy to understand, and I'm proud to say I am able to apply most of the things I learned, in my field of work.

The beauty of Mountain Top University

Mountain Top University is one of the best universities in Nigeria. They have a vibrant atmosphere and an interesting learning environment. Generally, the school is good for learning. My experience at mountain Top is still ongoing but I am have a great time so far. The school is friendly, topped with great friendships to make.

Montana Tech

Very cheap for a four year accredited stem university. Terrible food, many faculty members treat students as lesser-than, there is a huge " sink or swim" culture on campus, and several "weed-out" classes with professors who pride themselves on having an impossibly hard class. On-campus jobs, even uni-level tutoring, typically pay $9/hr. Not a "college-town" and no places to study after 9 pm on campus either. No coffee shops around town stay open past 3 pm. But still, pretty low cost for an accredited stem degree.
