Becker College traces its history from the union of two Massachusetts educational institutions—one founded in 1784 with a charter signed by John Hancock and Samuel Adams, and the other in 1887. Today the College’s nearly 2,000 students live and learn on these two distinctively New England campuses, located six miles apart, in the heart of Massachusetts.
The Becker College student experience focuses on preparation for global citizenship; students must be prepared to thrive in a world that is increasingly more interconnected and trans-national.
The fundamental mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to collect, analyze, and disseminate information for decision-making, assessment, enrollment management, and planning activities that support the realization of Becker's strategic vision. In this capacity, IR assumes primary responsibility for analyzing and interpreting data about the performance of the College.
At Becker College, we empower our students to be successful while you are here so you will be successful once you graduate. One of the ways we support you is by assigning you to an advisor from the Center for Career Education & Advising (CCEA). Our goal is to have one advisor that can work with you throughout your Becker College career. Our advisors focus on helping you understand the curriculum for your major, help you choose their classes, and explore how to apply your major to multiple career options.

The Ruska Library, located on the Becker College Worcester Campus, houses materials in business, criminal justice, early childhood education, game design, history, legal studies, liberal arts, literature, and nursing and health sciences. The Swan Library, located on the Becker College Leicester Campus, contains materials in liberal arts and focuses on equine studies.
Welcome to the Becker College Office of Information Technology (OIT). The OIT is committed to helping students, faculty, and staff achieve their goals by providing the support needed for success at Becker College. This includes the support of academic tools like Canvas, Starfish, and Insite, access to the Becker network and support for the various computer labs at Becker.
Becker College offers a multi-disciplinary model of health, providing a variety of services beneficial to the student’s physical and emotional health and well-being. Becker College students who have completed the student health forms, which include physical and state-mandated immunizations, can receive care through our office.
One of the highlights of the Becker College experience is the uniqueness of our Residence Halls. Choose from beautifully restored Victorian style homes or more traditional residence hall-style living arrangements. No matter where you choose to live, your room will have its own refrigerator, free use of washers and dryers, cable hookup, wireless internet and other amenities.
The New England Sports Center is the most advanced ice sports complex of its kind. It features six full-size ice surfaces, a studio rink, 30 spacious team rooms, a large family oriented mall overlooking the six surfaces, a full service restaurant, pro shop, snack bar, entertainment center and much more in a 218,000 square foot facility.
Becker College makes every effort to support new clubs and student organizations. Since student interests vary from year to year, new ideas and suggestions are always welcome.
