Student services

The Student Center at Worcester State University is more than just a place where you can hang out between classes—it’s the hub of campus life. Vast amenities, extensive services, and a central location make the center an ideal place to meet up, socialize, relax, work, study, attend events, or get something to eat or drink. It’s the hearth and the living room of our university community. We look forward to seeing you there soon.

Housing services

We recognize that occasionally students may need housing accommodations in order to be successful. Our housing accommodation procedure, which represents a collaborative effort between Residence Life and Housing, Student Accessibility Services, the Counseling Center, and Health Services, seeks to provide a student-focused process that allows students to apply for reasonable housing accommodations based on medical need and/or disability status.

Library services

The Library is the intellectual heart of Worcester State University, a place where members of the campus community converge, collaborate, learn, and discover. We’re a friendly group of experts ready to assist you with your scholarly pursuits, including research consultations at the research help desk or by phone, email, and online chat.

ICT services

IT touches every facet of life at Worcester State—spanning computer network, Internet access, email and phone communications, classroom instruction, hardware and software, collaborative learning, security, strategic planning, and infrastructure.

Medical services

Health Services at Worcester State University is your source for high-quality, cost-effective health care. We provide accessible, convenient, and affordable services—we don’t bill you or charge any co-pays. Our staff includes licensed nurse practitioners and physicians, which enables us to evaluate you on campus for any illness or health concern with minimal disruption to your studies.

Campus life

Worcester State University’s 58-acre campus is known for its rolling topography, diverse landscape and varied architecture. Our growth in enrollment and academic programs was the catalyst for the campus’s expansion, beginning in 1965 with the construction of the Sullivan Academic Center. Since 2004, capital projects have addressed the demand for more on-campus housing, need for additional on-campus parking, and commitment to modernize our facilities. Our close-knit campus has transformed over the years to meet the goals of our master plan: Renewing the campus with an “open, collegiate landscape” and creating “an identifiable sense of place.”

Sports facilities

We offer the latest in exercise and weight-lifting equipment, a wide variety of group exercise classes, an indoor elevated track, and more. Amenities available to our student-athletes include multipurpose and competition gyms, batting cages, and a golf simulator. After your workout, refuel and meet up with friends at Chandler's Court, the center’s smoothie bar and lounge.

The newest building on campus is our Wellness Center. It completes a physical transformation of our campus into a more student-friendly place. This facility allows us to offer a full range of recreational and varsity sports opportunities, more classroom space, outdoor patio seating, and a new campus quad.

Student clubs

When you get involved in a student organization at Worcester State University, you develop lifelong learning skills that contribute to intellectual enrichment and to success following graduation. Research consistently demonstrates that if you are active and involved in campus life, you are more likely to stay in school, thrive academically, and complete your degree than students who stay on the sidelines.

Accreditation

Worcester State University is proud to have received national and regional acclaim for our sound academics, community service, green initiatives, and more.

Mature Setting With Skilled Lecturers

It is a good university but still needs improvement. The atmosphere is generally more professional than in state universities, as many students are long past the age of 25, so the society is more mature and mature. Really, most of the lecturers are good and have the knowledge that they passed on during the classes. You had to put some effort into it.

Private uni good if you’re self‑motivated

It's a private University, which is pretty good. Didn't have any problems so far - I'd say that student experience depends on the student. As I'm a hard-working person, I make the best out of it and don't have much to complain about. If you're motivated, you'll probably feel the same way.

Career‑ready international degree

University and the program are pretty nice. I had all the professionals, which have practical experience in their field, so I didn't have a feeling that my teachers don't know what they speak about. If you are a driven person and can manage your time, it'll be really easy to study.
