History
The Arkansas State Legislature created The Arkansas State Normal School (now known as UCA) in 1907. The purpose of The Arkansas State Normal School was to properly train students to become professional teachers and rid Arkansas of haphazard schoolteachers. Classes began in 1908 with nine academic departments, one building on 80 acres, 107 students and seven faculty members.

Supportive UCA Nursing Program
I found my time at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) to be pleasurable one. I made some friends along the way and even found love along the way. I never felt too much pressure but the nursing program is rigorous at times and demanding. The academic staff (my professors more specially) were attentive. Some were not the best but overall, things felt fair and well put together. Overall, I would say my time spent at UCA was great. I had a generous private scholarship that covered all of my tuition so I was never stressed about loans. With that said, depending on what degree path you want to pursue, I would not recommend UCA due to the high cost of tuition. As an example, I will not be returning for future education.
Scientific relevance of the UAN
UCAN is a great university, with excellent professionals and quality teaching, with a strong focus on scientific research, and this has made the Catholic University of Angola a reference institution in Angola and on the African continent.
The university that helps you grow
It�s a great university, the teachers are always willing to help their students and have in person consulting hours thru the day. The university also has a lot of programs and workshops that help students to start their own business or find a job they love.
