Research
The research conducted at Fontys is practice-based and innovative. It targets the renewal and improvement of the professional practice for which education is provided and is elaborated upon in close consultation with professional practice, preferably within regional knowledge networks. Research contributes directly to curriculum innovation. The interaction between education and research contributes to keeping our teaching staff right at the forefront of developments in their subject areas.

Housing services
It is not easy for international students to find accommodation in the Netherlands. Therefore, Fontys University of Applied Sciences offers a service to provide students with assistance in securing suitable furnished accommodation for the first period of their studies at Fontys.Fontys can only guarantee housing for a limited number of students. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you keep on trying to find a room yourself.
Library services
The library is the 'Treasure Room' of Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts, a study and meeting place for students, employees and external partners.
Campus life
Our international English-taught bachelors and masters programmes are conducted at our campuses located in Eindhoven, Tilburg and Venlo.
All campuses are equipped with excellent computer facilities, libraries and student restaurants. Wireless Internet is available throughout the campuses, enabling you to bring your laptop to Fontys and to work, study, search for information and check your e-mail wherever you happen to be at Fontys.
Accreditation
All Fontys Associate degrees and Bachelor and Master’s programmes are accredited by NVAO (Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders).
