Our food is great, too, with an extensive, ever-changing buffet served continuously in the Sutton Commons, plus a selection of "grab and go" favorites in the Cavern, Fruitions and Rooney's Brews. Want a change of pace?  There are fun places to eat a few blocks away in Salem, or just a short drive away in downtown Roanoke.

ICT services

Security of the campus network is the primary concern of the Wi-Fi infrastructure. Roanoke College uses the Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2) standard to ensure all data transferred is secure from your computer to our servers. In addition, the network also requires authentication with a Roanoke College username and password, preventing outsiders from accessing the college network.

Roanoke College Student Health & Counseling Services is nurse-directed, operating under the direct medical supervision of a local doctor. Our team is skilled in the assessment and treatment of health issues of college students.

Great school!

I like the smaller class sizes, one on one help from the professors and close-knit community. I didn’t like how expensive it was but my degree was totally worth it. Loved most of my professors.

I beat a tough grading system

Roanoke College is among some of the most competitive schools in terms of grading. We rank within the top 10 hardest grading systems and with that, my academics have challenged me in ways that come into my personal life. Through my academics, I have learned the value of time, balance and the beauty behind good workmanship.
