History
RSU was founded in 1909 – just two years after Oklahoma was granted statehood. The university was officially established as Eastern University Preparatory School in Claremore by the Oklahoma Legislature in its second session.
Education
RSU offers a variety of bachelor’s and associate degrees to assist students in achieving their academic goals. As well as a vibrant campus life with student organizations to foster development inside and outside of the classroom.

While some computing resources may be dedicated to specific research, teaching, or administrative tasks that would limit their use, freedom of expression must, in general, be protected. The University does not limit access to information due to its content when it meets the standard of legality. The University's policy of freedom of expression applies to computing resources.

Inclusive Learning
Rivers State University is a State-of-the-art State Tertiary Institution that incorporates inclusive learning. That is, they go beyond the general Lecture-to-students teaching to bring in experts in the particular field of study for the students to gain real-world understanding of their chosen courses even before graduating. I will recommend Rivers State University to anyone who wants to get hands-on teaching in their chosen field of study.
How stressful it is
My school environment can sometimes be very stressful for students. One of the major problems is that some of the lecturers are not very serious about their responsibilities. At times, lectures are not properly organized, and students do not always receive the guidance they need to understand their courses. This can make learning difficult and frustrating for many students who genuinely want to succeed academically. Another issue is the way some students are treated. In some situations, students experience physical and emotional abuse from lecturers or school authorities. Instead of being encouraged and supported, students may be shouted at, insulted, or treated harshly. This kind of treatment creates fear and anxiety among students and makes the school environment uncomfortable. There is also a concern about how results are marked. Many students feel that their results do not truly reflect the effort they put into their exams or assignments. Instead of fair marking, students sometimes receive poor grades or negative reviews that do not match their performance. This can be very discouraging and can affect students� motivation to study hard. Because of these issues, the school environment becomes stressful and difficult for students. A better learning environment should include supportive lecturers, fair treatment of students, and transparent grading systems so that students can learn and perform to the best of their ability.
Affordable communications studies in Oklahoma
It's a good university. It has an excellent communications and nursing degree plan. Even if you want to go to another school, you should at the very least consider taking your basics here. RSU is far more affordable than most schools, yet doesn't lack in quality of education.
