History
In 1981, the first Vatel School opened in Paris. Convinced of the necessity of internationally targeted education in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Alain Sebban nonetheless decided to begin by consolidating the Group in France. For the first ten years, he established the Vatel model in France: Campuses opened in Lyon in 1984, in Nimes in 1989 and then in Bordeaux in 1994.

Vatel has 50 hospitality management schools located in Europe, in the Americas, in Asia and in Africa. They share the same mission: preparing the younger generations to build their professional futures in the international hospitality and tourism management industries.
Student clubs
Success must be shared. This strong idea is the base for Vatel Group’s development. A win-win situation for Vatel Group as it expands throughout the entire world as well as for its partners, who, as soon as the contract has been signed, can count on extensive tried and tested experience, while remaining independent. In return, both parties must contribute to the success of each new campus.

Vatel Switzerland is officially on its way to becoming an ES!
Announced a few months ago, Vatel was undergoing the steps to becoming accredited as an “Ecole Supérieure”. As of October 12th 2018, it has successfully achieved this accreditation!

best study abroad programs
The curriculum at Ecole Vatel is broad and covers all aspects of hospitality management, from customer service to financial management. One of my best and enjoyable aspects of Ecole Vatel is the study abroad programs. I have had the opportunity to work in various departments of the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and event management in different countries. This real-world experience is a great asset and prepares me for the challenges that I will face in their future careers. Moreover, Ecole Vatel promotes multiculturalism and diversity. The study abroad program exposes students to different cultures and customs, which enhances their global perspective and understanding. This aspect of the program is particularly beneficial for students who are interested in pursuing international careers in hospitality.
Study abroad
I got the opportunity to study abroad at Vatel. I did my first year at �cole Vatel in France, then did a year abroad in Mauritius and came back to France. This opened me to different experiences of the hospitality industry I a different part of the world. I was equipped with experience to work in various hospitality sectors
Personnal experience
I made a lot of friends and professionnal connections there, some subjects are interesting and some not. The image of VATEL is the most important for me because it will open a lot of opportunities in the future.
