Student services

The Office of Registrar and Student Accounts has a dual role in providing academic and accounts services to Guilford College. It maintains, interprets and monitors academic policy and communicates procedures to faculty, students and the College’s other constituents. The office supports students, faculty, staff, administration and other members of the College community through the collection of tuition and fees. In addition, it supports the College’s Office of Institutional Research by maintaining a comprehensive database of student academic and demographic information.

Housing services

We are a residential campus, which means all traditional students under the age of 23 must live on campus. The many advantages of living on campus include being close to classes and academic resources with 24/7 access to the heart of campus life.

We have a diversity of housing options, including residence halls, theme houses (based on special interests like international culture) and campus apartments. All residential students are required to have one of the College’s meal plans. Residential students who do not choose a meal plan will be assigned the Quaker 19 meal plan by default. Explore the links below to learn more about our housing and dining options.

Library services

The Hege Library Academic Commons is a symbol of Guilford's academic excellence and institutional distinctiveness in furthering innovation through collaboration. As a dynamic learning environment, it fosters a culture of scholarly exploration and experimentation, promotes creativity and innovation, and provides information and technology resources to advance unique liberal arts experience.

ICT services

The Information Technology and Services (IT&S) Department helps students, staff and faculty navigate the many aspects of technology on campus, including:

  • technical support
  • computer and software guidance
  • network/internet services
  • wireless access
  • multimedia setups and support
  • website development and support
  • remote access
  • cable TV for all residence halls and alternative houses
  • computer labs

Medical services

Guilford College has a public safety team dedicated to maintaining the peace and security of our campus at all times. Whatever your safety question or concern is, the answers are just a call or click away. We have no higher priority than the safety and wellbeing of our community and visitors.

Campus life

It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,420 (fall 2020), its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 340 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Sports facilities

Guilford students find that intramural sports and club sports are a great way to stay in shape, connect with other students, develop leadership skills and have fun. Guilford’s variety of team and individual sports ensures participation opportunities for every member of our community. You can start a new club sport or join an existing one by working with the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement.

Guilford College has 50-plus clubs and organizations founded by students like you.
