Student services

The purpose of the Bursar's Office is to provide billing and receipting of student tuition and fees along with various university cashiering functions.

Housing services

Living in a campus house is considered a privilege that is only extended to those students who meet the criteria for selection. Criteria includes, but is not limited to:

  • Classification: seniors and juniors will be given more priority for assignment than sophomores and continuing freshmen. Groups may be mixed in terms of classification and everyone must be eligible for a house assignment (are a current UMHB house or apartment resident, or be 21 or older, or have 48 hours, or be allowed to live in a house based on an exception to the policy).  Fall 2018 - an overflow is anticipated and all current residents are eligible to apply.

Library services

Townsend Memorial Library supports the University's mission. The library faculty and staff are committed to quality service, continuous learning, and academic excellence in a Christian context.

Medical services

Health Services are available free to provide health care and education to UMHB students. Emphasis is given to the whole student to include physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual needs. The goal is to empower individuals with health care knowledge and Christian principles to make informed decisions about health-related issues.

Campus life

Our student-to-faculty ratio cultivates an environment where you can grow and thrive.

Belton is located in the heart of Central Texas, 60 miles north of Austin on Interstate 35.

Our campus is large enough to provide a wealth of opportunities and experiences, small enough to walk across, and one of the safest campuses in the nation.

Sports facilities

Turning out for the CRU is one of the unifying traditions on campus, whether you’re a sports fan or not. It’s as much about UMHB spirit as anything else, and our teams bring us together over and over again.

Student clubs

The Student Organizations office is the ultimate resource to get students involved on campus. This website is a tool for you to browse different organizations, as well as, finding out information to start your own organization.

  • American Marketing Association
  • Association of Black Students
  • Association of Texas Professional Educators
  • ASTRA
  • Best Buddies

Accreditation

Good

I like that at our university they teach us to be creative and go beyond the parameters, to create from scratch and have a research process before any project. The values that they instill in us to create responsible people in the future at work and above all to be good people
