Founded by the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt, the College is an independent institution of higher learning, Catholic in origin and heritage. Housing services

Housing is available for Graduate Students in Rosary Hall on a first-paid first-assigned basis.

Rosary Hall accommodations are single rooms, furnished with a desk, mirror and bed. The building is staffed by a Resident Director and Resident Assistants and maintained by the College. Amenities include:
  • Study lounges with computer stations and large group study tables
  • Game rooms
  • Kitchenettes in the third and fourth floor lounges
  • Laundry Room (no charge)
  • Wifi
  • 24-hour security
  • Use of the Hennessy Fitness Center and the Sullivan Library

Library services

The Sullivan Library's mission is to support the educational mission of the College. The Library promotes an active partnership in intellectual growth and discovery, as well as providing life-long learning skills. The Library provides a comprehensive collection of resources and services to support learning, teaching and research.

Medical services

The Student Health Center, staffed by full-time nurse practitioners, is available to all Dominican College students at no charge for routine health and wellness services.  Minimal fees will be charged for immunizations and some diagnostic and screening tests.

Campus life

At Dominican College we offer three very different Residence Centers: Guzman Hall, Hertel Hall, and Rosary Hall, each with different amenities and room types. As a resident, you’ll be part of a stimulating community where academic programs are supplemented with community interaction and service learning. In the healthy, safe, academically-conducive environment of our Residence Centers you will achieve success and flourish as a scholar and as a human being.

Sports facilities

Dominican College has 17 varsity teams (eight for men and nine for women) that play in Division II of the NCAA. In the last ten years, Dominican College’s student-athletes have won 12 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championships and 11 tournaments and the teams have represented the College at national and regional NCAA tournaments 15 times. The women’s athletic program has been honored with three Alfred R. Restaino, Sr. Cups, the award given annually to the institution that performs best across the board in CACC-sponsored sports.

Student clubs

All student organizations of Dominican College operate under the support of the Student Government Association.  Each club has an advisor with the  general responsibility of serving as a resource person.  Activities and student functions are approved through the Student Activities Office and the Director of Student Activities.
