Founded in 1883, Midland University is a liberal arts college providing relevant opportunities in more than 30 academic areas, four graduate programs, and a variety of professional studies programs to students at both their Fremont and Omaha locations.

Housing services
All of Midland’s residence halls feature computer and internet access, cable television hookups, restroom and shower facilities on every floor, coin-operated laundry facilities, study and recreational lounges, and ample permit-only parking. Room assignments for first-year students are designed in traditional single-roommate style.
Library services
If Luther Library doesn’t have the materials you are looking for, you can request an Interlibrary Loan. This service is completely free to Midland University students, faculty, and staff. Materials that can be requested are fiction and non-fiction books, magazine and journal articles, and media such as DVDs and CDs.
Medical services
Come to the the Student Health Office to receive over the counter medications; dressing changes or suture removal; health counseling and weight monitoring; medical or dental referrals; vital sign evaluations; and eye, throat, and ear exams from a friendly face committed to making you healthy as fast as possible.
Campus life
Midland University is Nebraska’s fastest growing college. With Nebraska’s largest athletic department, hundreds of opportunities in the performing arts and a cozy campus where you can learn and live, it’s no wonder more students are calling Midland home than ever.
The Midland University campus is a lot of things: tight-knit, cozy, safe, busy, challenging, and fun. Whether you are joining friends for pizza at the Dining Hall, playing a game of Ultimate Frisbee, sun bathing at Midland Beach, or getting a workout in at the YMCA, you can build your own experience here.

At Midland University we believe sports help students learn lasting life lessons and build rich character. With 31 varsity sports, Midland is home to the largest athletic department in Nebraska. We value our athletic teams so much that we have dedicated an entire website to our Warrior teams and student-athletes.
