• Support research and knowledge exchange activities and initiatives
• Promote student research
• Create a conducive environment for research and knowledge exchange
• Prepare research and knowledge exchange reports and budgets
• Administer matters related to research projects and postgraduate research degrees
• Oversee research ethics on campus
