Housing services

While studying in Berlin, you have a lot of accommodation options to choose from. Most students opt to rent a studio or flat, or to share a flat or house with other students or young professionals.

Arden has a dedicated accommodation officer in our student support team who can help students find suitable accommodation in Berlin.

Students can set up an appointment, either face to face or online, to get help finding accommodation, to review an offer or contract, or for advice if any unexpected problems with accommodation arise.

This service is absolutely free of charge for Arden University Berlin students.

Library services

The library service has teamed up with BibliU, an extensive online library to which you’ll have unlimited access throughout your studies. We’ve carefully hand-picked over 7,000 of the most relevant and useful books from BibliU’s library of over 2 million textbooks from 2,000 publishers to support you in your learning.

There are no healthcare facilities available on campus however, most doctors and pharmacists, particularly in Berlin, will understand and speak English.

For international students, it is mandatory to get health insurance whilst in Germany to seek assistance with check-ups, tests and examinations, prescriptions, and other medical services.

Campus life

You’ll be studying with us in the heart of Berlin’s International Business District, close to the German headquarters of several major corporations including Sony, Deutsche Bahn, Daimler, the Axel Springer Media Group, and many more.

The Berlin study centre is equipped with lecture halls, seminar rooms, a library, common room, and student canteen, and offers you all of the essential services you need to have a truly fulfilling university experience in Germany.

It’s not all work in the business district though - there are also fantastic shopping centres and restaurants, and plenty of parks and green spaces for a quiet stroll or a place to study away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Sports facilities

Berlin is a large city with plenty of sports – both active and passive.

You can go and see the main local Bundesliga Club, Hertha BSC Berlin, lose home games in the Olympiastadion, you can get a more local flavour by seeing a smaller football team play, and you can see and take part in all sorts of other sports – including cricket, baseball, handball, American Football, athletics, water polo or whatever else your heart desires. Joining a sports team is also a great way to meet people from outside the University!

We are also happy to support your own initiative – in the past, we had regular football sessions, yoga classes on campus and other things.

Student clubs

The Arden University Students’ Association offers an avenue for our student’s voice to be heard and works with the University to ensure the student’s best interests are represented. The Students’ Association provides:

  • Increased Opportunities for Student Participation through student led projects
  • A range of Inclusive academic and social virtual communities, clubs, and societies
