Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), was established in 1946, as the Isfahan Higher School of Health Education. In 1950, the Isfahan Faculty of Medicine was inaugurated and students were admitted for the M.D. degrees after a 6-year medical training course.
At present IUMS includes ten schools, namely School of Advanced Medical Technology, School of Allied Medical Sciences, School of Dentistry, School of Health, School of Management & Medical Information Sciences, School of Medicine, School of Nursing & Midwifery, School of Nutrition & Food Sciences, School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences and School of Rehabilitation Sciences.
A variety of academic levels, degrees and training programs are offered in these schools including fellowship, subspecialty, specialty, general doctorates of Medicine, Dental surgery and Pharmacy, Post-Doc, PhD, MSc and BSc.IUMS also runs two research institutes and 42 research centers.

Actually i graduated at yazd university but it doesn't exist in the list. I really like the degree because of so many branches that it has and doing a lot in laboratories and also I like the lessons of biochemistry, molecular biology, nanobiotechnology and other lessons. I don't like the university, because Yazd totally doesn't fit for me. I did not even like to go out and move around this city. It was always boring and I hae not had a real friend to spend time with that appropriately. In a conclusion, the degree is not bad and has so many advantages but be careful for where do you study.
Isfahan University has a vast campuses and great teachers and nice students.
This university is located in the middle of the city.
