Atlantic International University exists as an institution of experiential learning and non-traditional education at a distance. There are no classrooms and attendance is not required. What makes us unique is the combination of a student "self-instruction" approach, the collaborative development of a curriculum that is unique to each student, and the flexibility of time and place of study.

Education

AIU offers educational opportunities in the United States to students from around the world in an effort to propel them to discovering their best selves by using their own potential to manage their personal, global and cultural development.

This is actualized through the evaluation of their credentials towards a Bachelor's, a Master's or a Doctorate degree, and this also implies capability for sustainable results-based performance.
The foundational axis of such a philosophy rests on self-actualized knowledge and information, which is embedded into a distance learning system based on ANDRAGOGY and OMNIOLOGY.

Research

The best way to get the knowledge it’s research, and that’s why AIU programs encourage students to demonstrate competency through independent learning as well as reading and research in their field of study to get their academic goals.

Library services

The University provides its students with a wealth of research material just a click or brief search away.
With access to a worldwide union catalog created and maintained collectively by more than 9,000 member institutions, AIU students are assured an excellent research tool for their study programs.

Medical services

Located in Building A (behind the Reception Area) and in the Building C Fitness Center, the AIU Campus Clinics offer students assistance with basic health needs. The clinics are staffed by qualified full-time medical professionals, including one medical doctor and two registered nurses. Each clinic has private treatment rooms and a range of basic medical equipment and medicines.

Campus life

The AIU Virtual Campus provides students many tools to ensure their success. Every AIU student is assigned a tutor and an academic advisor to guide them during their academic journey.
Once a student logs into the Student Section of the AIU Virtual Campus, communications and assignments can be send directly to the academic advisor for evaluation.

Student services and AIU staff will answer questions in real time via the chat tool or within 24 -48 hours via communication tool to ensure student progress is constant.

Sports facilities

The AIU Fitness Center offers an incredible array of programs and experiences to support and inspire the wellness of the AIU community.
More than just a place to exercise, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, engaging, and supportive campus community service aimed at bringing students, faculty, and staff together.

Accreditation

Atlantic International University is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC). ASIC is a member of CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in the USA, an approved accreditation body by the Ministerial Department of the Home Office in the UK, and is listed in the International Directory of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Empowered by Purpose: My Journey at AIU

Studying MSc in Water Resources Management at AIU has been a transformative and empowering experience. I appreciated the flexible, learner-driven approach that allowed me to align coursework with real-world challenges in South Sudan. The interdisciplinary depth and global resources enriched my understanding of climate-resilient water governance. While peer interaction and contextual case studies could be enhanced, overall, the program strengthened my leadership, technical skills, and sense of purpose.

Tuition Constraint

I was offered admissions with 50% pay off from the school but I'm unable to get the other 50% to resume. Also with Flight tickets and other expenses too.
