The first foundations of Erzincan University were laid in 1976 with the Erzincan Vocational School, which was established under the Ministry of National Education and later connected to Atatürk University with the Statutory Decree No. 41, and the Erzincan Education School operating in the same facility (former Education Institute).

By the year 2010, there has been about 54000 printed publications in our central and sub-libraries. Those publications have been provided through purchasing or donation. Besides, there is a periodic collection of journals which have been donated to our libraries up to now. We have subscriptions to 13 databases for supporting the attempts to reach to the sources of information.
There are computer laboratories for the student utilization in each unit of our university. There are still 1144 PCs in total at our university meaning that there is one PC for each 10 students.

I gained so much confidence especially for speaking. I improved my writing skills, I learnt how to write and analyze an essay. I enjoyed my learning process.
My first period of the earthquake disaster in Turkey, we have processed the lessons online. I had the disadvantages of online classes. My inability to focus on the lesson is like an internet disconnection. But the way teachers' lecture and course materials were enough.
