The importance of studying in AUL
Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) is a specialized and respected institution in Azerbaijan, particularly well-regarded for its focus on language studies, translation, and intercultural communication. It has established itself as a prominent center for students seeking in-depth linguistic and cultural education, with a mission to foster multilingualism and intercultural awareness among its graduates. The university has some areas for improvement that students can develop their knowledge and skills such as limited practical opportunities; facility and resource upgrades.
Student life
I have enjoyed the experience in AU, it was very unique and different from the environment I was before. Even though, the culture, mentality, and language were new to me it was still a great experience to get!
Partially satisfied
First of all, I can say that my university is neither good nor bad. But I will have more negative nuances to say about my university. During the 4 years of my studies, the university has made many positive contributions to me. I met new people and made friends, gained new knowledge, participated in activities that changed my life 180 degrees. But I was completely dissatisfied with the education system of the university. Because I have wasted my time participating in subjects that are not related to my major. I did not enjoy the class because some of the teachers were old and did not use modern teaching methods. It can be said that during the teaching of most of the subjects, practice was not given importance. We just memorized the theory and passed the exam by memorization. At the end of the lesson and exam, everything we memorized was forgotten.
