For Moscow State Technical University “MAMI” (UMech) such a step and, as well, the beginning of complicated but bright history of the University development was establishment of a small vocational school in Moscow, which later turned into one of the leading secondary technical schools in tsarist Russia – Komisarov Technical School (KTS).

Over the Moscow Poly territory locations modern and multifunctional co-working spots are located. Students and employees possess an opportunity at any suitable time to use the space for work, preparation for studies, creative activity and communication within the university environment. The University is provided with sufficiently modern technical basis for training students: there are 21 buildings with well-equipped lecture-halls, training and scientific laboratories, computer class-rooms, sports halls, a scientific-technical library which numbers nearly 2 million books, dining halls and canteens.

You can learn here if you try, but a lot of factor
I chose Moscow Polytechnic point by point, believing that I can develop in it, but now after the passage of time I can say for sure that dirty rooms in dormitories, cockroaches in the kitchens, old classrooms for studying, teachers of disciplines that do not want to teach, old equipment in laboratories can not give an ideal education, so most of the time I have to learn new information through the Internet. Although I was able to enter the budget form of education, but I am still not directly satisfied with all this. You just don't expect such disadvantages from one of the largest universities in the country
Pros and cons of MPU
My university is trying to keep up with the times, so it was the first in Russia to introduce a program based on project-based learning. Many teachers are experts in their field and share truly useful knowledge. But I miss practical work, as well as working with new experience, programs, etc.
