Toi Ohomai has an active and dynamic team of Research Office staff who support staff and student research across all campuses of the institute.

We also offer a complementary shuttle service from the Auckland Airport to Rotorua or Tauranga for new Toi Ohomai international students.
In New Zealand the word flatting means to rent a house with others (flatmates). They might be other students, friends or people you’ve not met yet.
You’ll find a huge range of resources at the Toi Ohomai libraries to help with your studies. As a student you have free access to all of the library collections including physical and digital resources.
The Toi Ohomai libraries have a relaxed and friendly feel. You’re welcome to eat, drink and socialise in our libraries, and there are cafes on site or nearby.
Our Learning Support and IT teams provide support to all students and staff of Toi Ohomai - a total of more than 15,000 people!
All our students receive a free, institution email account through Microsoft Office 365, internet access and online file storage and depending on course requirements, may be provided with access to specialist software packages, and printing.
Our Health Centres at Mokoia Campus (Rotorua) and Windermere Campus in (Tauranga) offer on-site free healthcare service to Toi Ohomai students and staff.
We offer the services of kaitiaki nurses, counselling services and referrals to internal and external support services. All of our services are confidential.
Tauranga's main campus is located on the southern side of the city, set on 24 hectares of trees and gardens.
Windermere Campus, or ‘Windy’ as it’s affectionately known, features modern lecture theatres, state-of-the-art trades workshops built to emulate industry, purpose-built laboratories, fashion studios, a restaurant, three cafés, a beauty salon, music recording studio and radio station, as well as Te Pare a Ruahine, our fantastic heated pool and gym.
Located midway between Taupō and Hamilton, our campus in Tokoroa is perfectly situated in the middle of town. This is an ideal location for students interested in New Zealand’s farming, forestry, timber, or paper industries.
Toi Ohomai Tauranga's Aquatic and Fitness Centre - Te Pare a Ruahine features a 25m training pool, gym, and educational facility.
All memberships include access to the pool, all group fitness classes, and ongoing assessments and programmes with some of the most knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated staff around.
