It's important that our students are able to access support when they need it in order to sucessfully complete their programmes with us. SIT offers a range of student support services which are available to students from all campuses including SIT2LRN Distance Learning students.

Learning Assistance Unit

The team will assist you with your study skills including; academic reading, writing assignments/essays, maths, concentration, time management, exam techniques, memory skills, note taking and more!

The SIT Invercargill Library is the perfect place on campus to study or chill out. It has more than 25,000 books, 750,000 E-books, multiple online databases, and magazines, DVDs and novels.

Additional services include multi-function printers, wireless internet access and more than 20 computers for student use. There are also two group study rooms furnished with an overhead projector.

To get the most out of your studies and time spent as a student, you need to be healthy, both physically and emotionally. Our Health & Wellbeing services provide free, friendly and confidential services to all students.
