The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has six traditional residence halls allowing students living in the UAE to avoid a lengthy commute by selecting to live on campus. In addition, international students will enjoy the convenience of living on campus while studying at the university and staying within their budget.
Our residential halls at AURAK are managed by the university and provide residents with a comfortable and safe living environment that is conducive to the academic experience. The buildings are divided by gender offering all female and all male buildings with shared (double room) accommodation. Based upon availability some single occupancy rooms may be available for an additional fee.
Saqr library is an academic library with an essential collection of library materials such as books, eBooks, periodicals (print and electronic), references, and electronic journals and databases to support the university's instructional programs and educational goals.
Computers designated for student use or service computers are conveniently located in various campus buildings. These computers are equipped with a variety of applications that replicate those used in classrooms/labs. Students can utilize these PCs for tasks such as accessing email, preparing assignments, printing documents, conducting research, and browsing the internet.
All students (undergraduate and graduate) enrolled at AURAK are required to have health insurance. International students, under sponsorship by AURAK, will automatically have the health insurance policy ordered for them and the annual expense of the insurance premium will be billed to their student account.

My experience at Abdelmalek Essa�di University has been enriching so far. As a first-year student in Private Law, I�ve appreciated the diversity of subjects such as criminal law, commercial law, and administrative law. The professors are knowledgeable, and the university provides a good academic environment. Of course, there are some challenges, such as the need for more practical workshops and easier access to updated materials. However, overall, I feel that this program is giving me a solid foundation for my legal career and personal growth
