The campus is brimming with initiatives by more than 60 student associations, aiming to promote equal opportunities, improve study conditions, provide entertainment on the campuses, strengthen social ties or create study-related projects. It is fully integrated into the city of Saint-Étienne, a metropolis on a human scale.

A very standard University, and in the field I am, a lot of options and competent teachers. Overall not a lot of students, but a lot of diversity and a great international program. The Academic Staff is always there to help and answer questions, the only malus may be the organisation that feels a little bit chaotic. But the communication is great between student-teacher, as there is a very active forum and teachers are always available through mails. The Biology course is also pretty diverse and the choice of Master offered in Saint Etienne is also pretty diverse.
An experience that has allowed me to learn more about my native language. The teachers are very great and the university was very organized. It allowed students to go on Erasmus, but not those without documents, as they claimed it would give a bad impression at the host university.
It has various courses and projects and good teachers who have good knowledge about the recent research about the topic.
