Great university, knowledgeable professors
As a student for the Philosophy, Ethics and Religion Master's I must say that the university surpassed by expectations by far. I first chose it because I wanted to do a Master's on Ethics, and I am completely pleased. It goes over philosophy form the very ancient subjects to the most contemporary ones, all while having an outstanding group of professors well specialized on the discipline. Sometimes people might say the buildings of the university are old, but I love the historic aspects of them and the fact that they are located in the center of Cracow. Although the library is part of a modern building that is partially under construction and should be finished soon. The administrative workers and other students in the university are welcoming, warm and always there to help. The admissions department has helped me greatly and continues to help me if I have questions. Sometimes people have reservations because the university is catholic, but the Philosophy Department is incredibly open and there are professors that have all kinds of postures and are well open minded. The one downside I would point out is that the university's website might feel cumbersome and can have out-of-date information at times. But if one reaches out for clarification one will have an answer in a short period of time.
Study languages!
I really like my university. It is not only about the great building with a green backyard where we sometimes study during warm summer days but also about the great atmosphere and helpful teachers. Thanks to my university I discovered my biggest passion - languages. During 5 years of studies not only have I learnt two foreign languages but also I became familiar with two different cultures and traditions of the countries I learnt about. Studying has been also a great occasion to meet people - not only Polish friends but also the foreign ones. Since I've been studying English I could become a Guardian Angel of some Erasmus students and help them to discover Poland. What is more, I helped two Chinese friends with the Polish language within my apprenticeship as I attended the classes of teaching Polish the foreigners specialisation (which is also a great opportunity given by this university). Furthermore, I met a lot of Ukrainian friends since we studied together in Applied Linguistics. Additionally, my university gave me a great opportunity to visit the world as I became an Erasmus student in Budapest. To sum up, my university is not only diplomma. It gave me vocation, aim in life, passion and friends.
Veterinary medicine program, Slovenia
The first year of the Veterinary Medicine program at Biotechnical Educational Centre, Ljubljana, has been a positive experience. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and the classes are well-structured. Ive enjoyed the hands-on lab sessions, especially in anatomy and animal handling. The campus is modern, with great facilities, and Ljubljana is a beautiful, student-friendly city. Overall, its a challenging but rewarding program that gives you a solid foundation for a veterinary career.
