Housing services
The accommodation service is organized to facilitate the participation of non-resident students in academic and university life. Only non-resident students may apply for a bed in a student residential complex.
The annual public notice specifies the allocation procedure for obtaining such sleeping quarters and the costs involved.
The residential complexes contain single, double or triple rooms and common rooms for study or recreation. They are equipped with laundry facilities and provide students with the necessary bedclothes. Further, an internet connection may be requested.Library services
Access to the Libraries and consultation of the bibliographic heritage in the center is free and free for all users. The University Library System offers reading to all users, a bibliographic heritage of about 1,500,000 books and 19,600 titles of printed journals.
ICT services
A Wi-Fi network allows students to connect to high-speed Internet with their own pc, palm pc/laptop or smartphone. The connection is available to students with access credentials (username and password) in areas covered by the signal.
Medical services
Students from EU countries staying in Italy have access to health care through the National Health Service (Servizio Sanitario Nazionale).
At the Palace Ateneo University there is an active medical facility providing emergency care to the members of the university community.

Bari is the capital city of the province of Bari and of the Apulia (or, in Italian, Puglia) region, on the Adriatic Sea, in Italy. It is the second most important economic centre of mainland Southern Italy after Naples, and is well known as a port and university city, as well as the city of Saint Nicholas. The city itself has a decreasing population of about 320,000, as of 2009, over 116 km2, while the fast-growing urban area counts 653,028 inhabitants over 203 km2. The metropolitan area counts 1 million inhabitants.

Student clubs
Student Associations have an important role for the aggregation and the involvement of students in Bari University life and in the activities of the individual Departments.
At the University of Bari there are several Student Associations, properly recognized by university regulations and whose representatives are elected every three years.
Their goal is to defend the student right to study and to guarantee the services provided by the government authorities of the University and the Faculties (Administrative Board, Academic Senate and Faculty Council).
