History
The Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) is the third oldest university in Greece, after the University of Athens and the National Technical University of Athens (Metsovio). It was established by law in 1920.

Campus life
The AUA campus is 25 hectares in area bordering on both sides the historic Iera Odos (the Sacred Way of antiquity), close to the centre of Athens, at the heart of the ancient Olive Grove and the edge of the Ancient Site of Kerameikos.
Sports facilities
The University encourages sport actions and activities. In campus there is a gym and sport facilities for students and staff members. In particular, there is one basketball court, one volleyball court, two tennis courts, one indoor gym with an exercise room (110 m2), a fully equipped fitness hall (328 m2) and separate changing rooms for men and women.
