Fundación/Colección Jumex

Fundación/Colección Jumex is located within the facilities of Jumex´s Ecatepec plant, Estado de Mexico. On display is a collection of contemporary art ranging from minimal to conceptual art from the 1960s. Most of the artwork focuses on contemporary Mexican and international artists from the 1990s.

The primary purpose of the gallery is to showcase this collection and develop Fundación Jumex programs. The gallery, which complies with all technical and preservation standards, is administered by Fundación Jumex, whose aim is to collect, sponsor, preserve and propagate contemporary artwork.

Toward that end, Fundación Jumex has implemented a program to support the development of artistic, curatorial and editorial projects, as well as visual arts research and promotion.

Fundación Jumex also offers a graduate internship program for art students and professionals, in addition to a library specializing in contemporary art, with a documentary file about each artist in the collection.
