Student services

The Student Office of Sustainability (SOS) is a Commission of Student Senate whose purpose is to allocate the Green Fund using a collaborative model in order to make UW-Eau Claire a more sustainable campus. The SOS funds projects, programs, and events addressing the various sustainability areas of transportation, energy, waste, climate change, water, food systems, campus ecology, education, and outreach.

Housing services

  • UW-Eau Claire has everything you could need when it comes to dining options and residence hall facilities. We pride ourselves on giving Blugolds housing that fits their style and dining options for all nutritional limitations. Through our housing and dining, we want your time here on campus to be enjoyable.
  • Our residence halls house nearly 4,000 students and offer much more than just a place to sleep. With amenities and extra curricular activities, you will always be able to find something to do and always feel at home.
  • Blugold Dining is here for YOU. We want your meals on campus to feel just like home. With our wide variety of options, you'll be sure to find something to satisfy your hunger.

Library services

We are your home for research, study, making, and creating. McIntyre Library has the tools, the books and databases, the spaces, and the people to help you succeed.

ICT services

  • The LTS Help Desk is the front line of support regarding learning and technology services. Located in Vicki Lord Larson Hall, they coordinate the referral of faculty, student and staff questions to the appropriate resources.
  • Whether you are a UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff, or student, Learning and Technology Services has multiple tools in place to help you work and learn remotely.

Medical services

Your health and safety is something that we take seriously at UW-Eau Claire. Take advantage of these services, as they are here for your well-being. Our student health services, recreation and fitness programs, emergency and police services, and Dean of Students office help you de-stress, worry less, deal with the challenges of being a college student, and feel safe in your environment.

Campus life

When you become a Blugold, campus becomes your home away from home. You’ll probably find a favorite place to study or snack to grab. You’ll find friendship where you least expect it. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in organizations, activities and events. This is what campus life is all about.

Sports facilities

Maintaining an active lifestyle is a huge part of your experience at UW-Eau Claire. Seventy-five percent (no kidding!) of the students here are involved in some kind of recreational activity –whether indoor or outdoor, spring or fall. Recreation and Sport Facilities gives you a lot of options to stay active, including great facilities and equipment and programming to support maintaining a healthy lifestyle throughout your college years.

Student clubs

Did you know there are more than 220 student organizations at UW-Eau Claire? Some of these are closely tied to a major, like the Philosophy Club or Aspiring Educators. Scholastic organizations like these will expand upon your classwork and connect you with individuals who share common goals.

Accreditation

We work hard to make sure your education counts. UW-Eau Claire has been accredited since 1950, which is your assurance that we provide a quality education and meet rigorous standards, and that our students are eligible for federal financial aid.

UW Eau Claire Undergraduate Program

The college of business sets students up for success. The professors and lecturers are great and are invested in their students. Administration and university faculty on the other hand are extremely unsupportive and cruel to students. Do not expect support or encouragement from any administration, dean of students, chancellors, or other campus officials.
