Medicine and Health is a broad field of study that deals with acquiring knowledge in terms of treatment and prevention of illnesses and diseases of human beings and animals.

The first years of Bachelor and Master degrees in Medicine and Health focus on introductory knowledge about how the human or animal body works; degrees continue with advanced knowledge about internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry and surgery; followed by a specialisation you’ve decided to pursue as a career. Medicine and Health students will attend supervised practice or internship, followed by a residency in a health care facility, where they experience medical events and practices at first-hand.
