Description
The Gaza-Palestine Postgraduate Taught Scholarship is offered for a taught postgraduate student from Gaza.
Benefits
The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, accommodation in a single occupant en-suite room in University halls of residence and a maintenance award of £5,000.
Eligibility
To apply and be considered for the scholarship you must:
- be a national of and currently residing in Gaza;
- be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes;
- not hold a qualification equal to or higher than a Masters;
- not have previously studied outside of Gaza;
- hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Sheffield before the application deadline to study a one year, full-time postgraduate taught masters course starting in September. Please note that it can take up to four weeks for the University to process a course offer.
