Description

Charles Eckburg was born in Peshtigo, WI. He attended UW Madison as a student and later became an instructor as well. His professional career included positions held at the Borden company: Vice-President, President of the Cheese Division, and a member of the Board of Directors.

Charles was also a director of Gateway Industries of Chicago, IL, Brinkman Cheese Co. of Fenimore, WI, and Twin Town Cheese Co. of Almena, WI. Charles also earned an appointment to the U.S. Department of Agriculture to conduct research on Swiss Cheese.
