Description
To keep up with the rapid developments in science and technology, and to promote the internationalization of higher education in Taiwan Academia Sinica established the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) in 2002 in collaboration with a consortium of key national research universities.
The interdisciplinary Ph.D. programs offered by TIGP are designed to provide an ideal scientific training and research environment for those who wish to conduct advanced research and experience a mature international academic setting.
Benefits
A monthly stipend of NT $40,000 for three years maximum.
Eligibility
- Applicants must possess a bachelor's or master's degree, or the equivalent, from a foreign university or independent college accredited by the R.O.C. Ministry of Education.
- Recipients can only be enrolled in one of the highly specialized interdisciplinary Ph.D. programs run in collaboration with research universities in Taiwan.
