Description

The Wayne Perry Ed.D Student Research Award is awarded annually to a student at Athabasca University. It provides recognition and support for exceptional students pursuing a doctoral degree through the Centre for Distance Education at Athabasca University. This award intends to provide the student with funds to support their dissertation research.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, an applicant must meet the following criteria: 

  • Is a current student of the AU Doctor of Education Program
  • Has successfully completed at least 12 months of the doctoral program
  • Has completed or is currently enrolled in EDDE805 or EDDE806 during this academic year
  • Is in good academic standing
  • Has not previously received this award
  • Has achieved a program GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Preference will be given to the applicant with the highest GPA
  • Preference will be given to international applicants
