Description
Welcome to apply for Chongqing Mayor Scholarship to study at Chongqing University (CQU).
The duration of scholarship is the same as that of the program in Admission Notice and cannot be extended.
Applicable programmes
Benefits
Master’s degree student: 30,000 RMB/year/person;
Ph.D. degree student: 35,000 RMB/year/person;
Scholarship recipients shall pay the tuition fee, on-campus accommodation fee, comprehensive medical insurance fee and other related expenses by themselves, and be awarded the scholarship monthly by way of living expenses.
Eligibility
- Must be an international student wanting to pursue degree programs in Chongqing.
- Must pursue a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. degree.

On receipt of the scholarship grant notice, students are required to confirm their acceptance of scholarship with Chongqing University and do the registration on time. Those who provide fake application process, fail to register on time, fail to pass the entrance health check, drop out midway and/or suspend their study will be deprived of scholarship.
