When you consider applying for Business, Economics and Finance from Aalto University, the key question is: Are you willing to dedicate most of your daily time awake for a single purpose? Full-time studying mode is the mainstream at School of Business -  and it also implies a guarantee for funding.

Dreams in control: research plan, study plan, supervision plan

The presence of the studies in your life starts already in connection with the application process as you are required to produce a research plan, or describe your research interest as part of the application. Once admitted, most supervisors ask their new students to draft a supervision plan, including a study plan before the beginning of studies.

The coursework begins right off at the beginning of the first academic year in September and at the same time you start seeing your thesis advisor at regular intervals in order to begin research. There is usually a lot of peer support as full-time students become a part of faculty forming a community, participate seminars, go together for lunch and maybe share leisure activities with each other.
