- International-level journalists are engaged in the development of such topical issues as the formation of the country's image abroad (country branding), the effectiveness of mass communication between different countries and peoples, information policy in business communications, convergent processes in modern media, etc.
- The International Journalism program at RUDN University is English-taught and includes scientific research in the chosen field, work in professional research groups to develop topical issues in the field of modern journalism, preparation of scientific projects in the field of journalism, independent preparation of scientific publications in Russian and foreign journals.
Career
- Graduates are ready for such activities as preparing and writing texts for all types of media, analyzing the international situation and its coverage in the media, promoting modern Russia and their country in the international arena, etc.
- Graduates work as journalists, editors, senior editors in Russian and foreign Mass media, in information, advertising and PR agencies, press services of various organizations; teach at leading Russian and foreign universities; work on scientific projects and complex research, including interdisciplinary ones.

- scanned copy of a passport or other document proving identity and citizenship

- a copy of the medical certificate on the absence of contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation and on the absence of HIV and AIDS

Personal portfolio:
- average academic grade at the previous place of study with special emphasis on the score in core subjects for the future major
- participation in competitions and Olympiads in specialized disciplines
- recommendations from RUDN University, public organizations, associations, associations of Russian and foreign institutions, certificates of the Russian language proficiency.
For postgraduate programs, research articles and a letter of motivation are required.
