About the programme

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Manchester is one of the largest electrical and electronic engineering schools in the UK.

We have strong links with industry in a number of sectors and are renowned for our theoretical and applied research.

We have over 70 academic staff and their research interests cover virtually all aspects of the subject; from the generation and distribution of electrical energy through to photonics and functional materials.
