Our 4-year program follows international best practices and aims at taking students to the frontier of knowledge in their field. This is achieved through a sequence of general advanced courses, during the first year, and field courses, during the second year. You’ll take part in our exciting research environment from the end of the first year when you are expected to start conducting your own research.

Faculty members at Nova SBE are experienced in advanced training, specifically in advising doctoral students.

A series of research workshops get students acquainted with the research agenda of the faculty in the first year. From then on, students can present their work and get feedback from faculty members who work in several of our knowledge centers.

We take particular interest in the internationalization of the candidates’ research network. Candidates spend at least one semester abroad and can benefit from several exchange agreements in place.
