Modern applied executive programme that is multidisciplinary designed and internationally comparable. Knowledge Management programme at International School for Social and Business Studies creates new knowledge in the fields of economics, business, informatics, management, sociology, education etc. Professors and students come from several continents.

Overview

The Knowledge Management curriculum at International School for Social and Business Studies is presented in an executive format, programme consists of an integrated sequence of seminars and a final research dissertation, allowing students to balance research endeavors with work and family life.

Knowledge Management (PhD) programme offers

  • implementation tailored to employees in various fields of activity,
  • therefore, students can apply the acquired theoretical and methodological knowledge in their areas of daily work,
  • a distinctly international environment, as students as well as professors and mentors come from many countries from several continents (Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa),
  • individualized research work with the support of a mentor from the 1. day of study,
  • a cohort driven environment, means that students work closely together, motivate and help each other in their studies,
  • implementation and teaching in the e-environment.

Accreditation

All the study programmes have internationally (European wide and wider) recognized accredited degrees.The study programmes are accredited by the Slovene Quality Assurance Agency (SQAA), which is a member of ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education).

Academic requirements

Anybody who completed Master’s degree or equivalent education (or being eligible to study doctoral study programme in the country of origin or country in which the current degree is obtained).

Other requirements

General requirements

  • second-cycle study programme,
  • undergraduate university study programme,
  • study programme evaluated with 300 credit points for a period of 5 years (uniform master's degree);
  • study programme for obtaining a specialization and with the previously completed professional higher education study programme,
  • graduate with a master's degree in science or specialisation after having completed a study programme for obtaining a university education,
  • a graduate who has completed equivalent education abroad. The equivalence of previous education abroad is determined by the competent commission.
