MA degree with a grade average of at least B+ in an area relevant to undertaking doctoral study in Humanities, or its equivalent.

Three letters of recommendation.

Your statement of interest is a brief (2 pages or so) description of your qualifications (academic or work) for admission, your interests in our program (areas of scholarship, faculty members you may wish to work with, etc.), and, most importantly, what you will be working on for your major project, for master’s students, their MRP; for PhD, their dissertation. In describing your project, try as best you can to position it in current scholarship.
